Paisaje tres

Jesús Bravo (Girona, 1950) and Kike García (Madrid, 1989) have been dancing together since they met, premiering their first performance in 2014. Both dancers, of distinct and shared styles united by matters of politics and love, started dancing to understand and care for each other through intimacy and tenderness, sharing rhythms, experiencing time together and formalizing this transition in their creations.

For several years they have been training separately, collaborating with other artists and presenting individual works, but they have always maintained their closeness. The Paisajes series has been shown at HZT Berlin (Paisaje uno) and at Picnic Sessions 2021, at CA2M in Móstoles (Paisaje dos).

Paisajes is a framework that Kike García and Jesús Bravo have been employing since 2020, formalizing a series of compositions in which the body is set to live as it is: a constant transformation, endearing and sensitive, rebellious and playful, full of reality.

Each Paisaje is a formation that speaks through dance and performance of experiences such as love, dependence, aging, vitality, care, attention, sexuality and queerness. For Paisaje tres, Kike and Jesús dance the transition of time and love, or how love transforms into a relationship with the passing of time.
